This is where you will find the best game ever developed about the Phantom... And guess who developed it! Well, the answer is -- yours truly -- Aman King! Ahem... actually a friend of mine, named Arpita Mirani, helped too. We made this as our class project for the Bachelor of Information Systems (Hons) degree at GGSIP University in Delhi, India.
Enough self-praise! Let's get to the facts: Mr Walker's Last Mile is a Text Adventure or Interactive Fiction game, developed using TADS (Text Adventure Development System). In case you've never heard of those terms before, they mean that you should not expect any bells and whistles from the game. It's not a run-of-the-mill 2D or 3D game with fantastic graphics. In fact, it has absolutely NO GRAPHICS! (Haven't we gotten bored of those First-Person-Shooter games anyway!!!)
In a TADS game, you have a text-based console and you interact by typing in commands at a command prompt and then viewing the results as text again. It is a game where you are the hero of the story! To check out an example from the game (screen-shot, if you will), click here.
