Here I have listed the softwares that I have used in the creation of this site. I have also listed those websites that provide helpful services to web developers.
-
CuteFTP & CuteHTML : I use CuteFTP for uploading my files to the web space providers' servers. I also sometimes use CuteHTML (which comes bundled with the latest version of CuteFTP) to edit my HTML files.
-
Evrsoft's 1st Page 2000 : This is the software that I have extensively used for creating web pages. It is not a What You See Is What You Get web page builder but it is a very great tool for those with some know-how of HTML. You have the option to hand code your pages like I did and also take the help of the in-built features of the software.
-
GIF Movie Gear : This is the software I used to create some of the animations you see in this site.
-
Ulead COOL 3D : I used this software for creating all the title GIFs used in this site.
-
Adobe PhotoDeluxe : I have made extensive use of this software for all the images that I scanned from my comics.
-
Graphic Workshop and GIF Construction Set : In addition to Adobe PhotoDeluxe, I also use these software for image editing and creating/optimizing GIFs.
-
www.dot.tk & www.cjb.net : These are the sites that provide free short URLs for your sites which have really long and hard-to-remember web addresses. They also provide free email forwarding services.
-
Bravenet Web Services : This is a very popular site among webmasters because it provides a number of free and yet helpful services such as guestbooks, discussion boards, chat, etc. The service I mainly use is form processing. All the forms in this website are powered by Bravenet.
-
HTML Gear : I use the excellent Guestbook service provided by Lycos.com.
-
Andale Counter : Andale provides a free and useful hit counter service for websites.
